The Farm and Ranch MLS Web site was designed by experienced farm and ranch real estate brokers who know and understand agriculture--Brokers who saw a need for a multiple listing service (MLS) built to serve those who buy and sell property outside the city limits.

Our goal is to connect buyers and brokers using the speed of the Internet because computers don't sell real estate--people do.

The Farm and Ranch MLS is a database-driven Web site with interactive features that allows a broker to manage their own property information whenever they want, without being a computer whiz. The broker's property information is entered on the privtate side of the Web site, accessed and protected by the broker's own password.

When a person accesses the public side of the Farm and Ranch MLS, they are able to search for property by type, acres, price and location. When matches are made, a buyer can then obtain additional information about the property, along with broker contact information. If a match is not found, a buyer can enter the type of property they are looking for, along with their contact information. This information will then be transferred to the private side. When there is a match, the broker listing the matching property will be notified. The broker can then contact the inquiring buyer.
